Geofrey Madira, an Arua-based hawker and a lucky winner for Ugx10 million in the ongoing under the crown promotion dubbed ‘Samba Ne Coca-Cola’.

During the handover that took place in Arua town, a visibly excited Madira showed off his winning crown and encouraged the residents to continue drinking Coca-Cola and get a chance to experience the joy of winning.

“I am so grateful. 10 million shillings is the kind of money that can change your life. Thank you so much Coca-Cola,” he exclaimed, adding that he would continue taking part in the promotion to win more money.

Last month, Coca-Cola Uganda partnered with World Cup Official broadcaster Multichoice and Global partner HiSense to bring the World Cup closer to consumers all across Uganda through the ‘Samba Ne Coca-Cola’ promotion. Since its launch, lucky consumers across the country have been winning Television sets, Multichoice Dishes and Decoders, soccer balls, brand new t-shirts, packs of soda and cash prizes of UGX4, 000,000. Madira is the first winner of the UGX 10,000,000 jackpot.

To participate in the Samba Ne Coca-Cola promotion, consumers simply have to purchase a Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Novida, Krest or Stoney 300ml glass or 500ml plastic bottle bearing a white crown and check under the crown for their exciting prize.
